The great customer service experiment? Well, that remains to be seen. This site has been created with two very simple purposes in mind. To show where good customer service exists, and where it doesn't. Many businesses today are so caught up in red tape and it can be all too easy to put looking after customers on the back burner. For some though, this isn't intentional. It's just that it can be time consuming and expensive to record customer feedback. Not all of the individuals who run companies are aware of customer issues. This is because many customer complaints can get diluted and sometimes hidden under layers of red tape and management structure. Until now. When you factor in that word of mouth is said to be the best form of advertising, to have a poor image and not know about it can cost millions in lost revenue. I mean, can you imagine the concept of a company becoming so good that they don't need to advertise? Sure people write about this stuff, but results are massaged and well, it can be hard to know where the truth is. It was then we got to thinking, what could bigger companies do to get that closeness to their customers? How could they have the advantages of a small business who knew its' customers on a first name basis? Furthermore, how could they show everyone that they really cared about putting things right? And how could the Chief Exec see what was going on from the comfort of his private jet? Well, we thought we'd get some friends to develop a clever piece of software and carry out an experiment. If our idea works, we'll get to help consumers and companies work together, and show the results to one and all in an easy to read format. If it doesn't well, we'll just get on with our lives and lose faith in humanity. We called it an experiment because we're not sure how it'll work out. For companies and organizations, using the site is a quick way of tracking how their customers perceive them, with the added advantage of being able to respond privately. No personal details are sent unless the customer decides to send them. Come on in, have a look and who knows, maybe you'll be tempted to post a view? |
